Difference between Fear and Respect:-
Firstly when we talk about “Fear”
and “Respect” most of the people says these two words goes hand and hand but
it’s the question to be solved. Fear means feeling of agitation and anxiety
caused by the presence or imminence of danger but Respect on the other hand is
defined as showing regards and appreciation for the worth of someone or
something. So from the definition itself we found that fear is given to others
but respect should be gained.
Since our childhood we are given
the fear of evil activities so sometimes we get afraid even to go out in the
midnight but since our childhood we don’t get respect from others, it should be
earned by doing some extra-ordinary work which is helpful for our society,
environment and also to human race. When we talk about fear all that comes in
mind is negativity in our mind but when we talk about respect I guess our mind
plays with the positive thought. It is not compulsory that our fear is real; it
can sometimes be imaginary too. But respect when given, should always be real.
Fear is life threatening whereas respect nurtures our life. When we get respect
from someone it brings a positive attitude inside ourselves but if we fear
someone, it brings a total negative thinking about the person. To be frank, we
should never respect the one whom we fear. It is a natural feeling that comes
inside us.
For eg, when we were small, we
always respected our teachers and parents. We don’t know whether it was out of
fear or it came just naturally. Fear not only scares the person, but it also
throws out the self-confidence that he/she has. And if there is no confidence,
the person automatically starts fearing about things. Respect brings more and
more confidence; it is obvious that every person wants to get respect. And once
respect is gained, our confidence should not turn into over-confidence because
once the respect is lost, it is very difficult to re-gain it.
Finally we can say fear is the
obstacle which decreases our hope as well as self-confidence when we talk about
it. Respect brings an inner joy inside ourselves which not only leads us to a better
path, but also brings self-confidence by doing the right things.
